Our commissioners are investing £9 million a year into expanding the number of inpatient beds in our community hospitals.

As a consequence, we have a wide variety of roles to fill in order to provide care for our patients – see details of individual posts below.

The jobs will be spread across our network of community hospitals – Coalville Community Hospital, Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital, Loughborough Hospital, Melton Mowbray Hospital, Rutland Memorial Hospital, St Luke’s Hospital (Market Harborough), and the two-ward unit at the Evington Centre in Leicester.

The roles will include nursing, therapy and support positions. See more at: 150 jobs created in expansion of community hospital wards – Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (leicspart.nhs.uk)

As a result of this recruitment, a new ward opened at Loughborough in October 2023, five additional beds opened at Hinckley in November 2023, and a 15-bed ward opened at Coalville in January 2024.
