Matron
Matrons provide compassionate inclusive leadership and management in inpatient and outpatient services.
They promote high standards of clinical care, patient safety and experience; prevention and control of infections; monitoring cleaning of the environment and staff performance. The role also includes duties such as workforce management, finance and budgeting, education and development, patient flow, digital technology and research.
This role is for you if:
- You have experience of a nursing leadership role
- You are able to lead and inspire people to do their best work, including experience in clinical supervision and mentoring
- You are able to follow and ensure others follow strict protocols, procedures and guidelines to ensure patient safety
- You have experience in patient involvement and listening to feedback to make service improvements
- You are determined to ensure patients and service users are offered by best possible care by your service
