Director of nursing, AHPs and quality
This is the most senior executive nurse role in the Trust. It is a broad role with great responsibilities and accountability. Executive nurses contribute to the strategic and corporate direction and management of the Trust and provide strategic clinical leadership for nursing and AHPs and to the Trust Board, managers, and clinicians, navigating across health and social care settings. As an executive nurse at board level, you are responsible for ensuring that safeguarding, quality of care, patient safety and experience remain the guiding principles for the organisation.
This role is for you if:
- You are a highly experienced senior nurse, with a strong strategic vision
- You can handle multiple workloads and high-pressure situations, while role modelling professional standards, demonstrating accountability and responsibility
- You can champion and encourage change which results in better clinical practice
- You are determined to ensure patients and service users are offered by best possible care by your service
