The Work More Earn More bank incentive scheme for Healthcare Assistants/Healthcare Support Workers (HCA/HCSW) is being removed for shifts worked after 1st March 2025.

The Work More Earn More incentive scheme awards a bonus payment for every fifth shift worked within a calendar month. The scheme was introduced as a temporary measure to reward bank staff financially who were able to work lots of shifts for LPT at a time when the Trust had exceptional staffing challenges.

LPT has now successfully recruited significant numbers of permanent and bank HCA/HCSWs which means our staffing challenges have reduced. We now rarely rely on agency staff to fill those roles and we consider staffing to be sufficiently stable to allow us to withdraw the bank incentive scheme.

The Work More Earn More incentive scheme will therefore be removed for shifts worked from 1st March 2025 onwards. The incentive scheme will continue to be paid for HCA/HCSW shifts worked during January and February.

We will always have a need for staff who can work flexibly to help meet the changing needs of our patients and we value the contribution that bank staff make to our Trust. Thank you for everything you do for LPT.
