Andrew Hugill is a Leicestershire based composer, musicologist, writer and consultant.  He is a professor in the fields of music and creative computing and is now retired.

Autism advocacy has always been part of his activities, but since retirement it has occupied increasing amounts of his time. As part of this, he has a blog where he publishes his personal thoughts in relation to being identified (diagnosed) as autistic late in life.

Andrew is keen to make this accessible to autistic people, their support networks and the general public – to increase awareness and understanding of autism-related matters.
