Head of nursing
The head of nursing is an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated professional who provides senior clinical leadership. They will act as a professional, visible role model for all staff.
Working strategically and corporately in partnership with the senior leadership team and all managers, they make sure that nursing fully contributes to service design, patient outcomes, and experience; ensuring nurses are heard, informed, and engaged.
They provide operational nursing advice and expertise, leadership, and management, guaranteeing the registered and unregistered nursing workforce delivers the highest standards and quality of clinical care is delivered to patients supported by the services in a directorate. They also help to influence the development of services to ensure continuous improvements in quality and patient safety.
This role is for you if:
