Our nurses work across many settings in our Trust, such as hospitals, in community clinics, in patients’ homes and in classrooms.
Whichever area they work in, be it in adult mental health services, community hospitals or in services for families, learning disabilities or autism, our nurses will be a key part of a multi-disciplinary team, planning and delivering high standards of care for our patients.
Nursing careers
To be a nurse, or registered nurse (RN), you will need to undertake nursing training and register with the NMC. Most registered nurses complete a degree in nursing, although there are other routes available too, such as an apprenticeship or a nursing associate role.
