Crishni Waring will become the new chair of Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust in September. She takes over from Cathy Ellis, who is standing down after the maximum eight years in the role.

Crishni has been chair of LPT’s buddy trust, Northamptonshire Healhcare Foundation Trust, since 2016 and will continue in that position.

She has a diverse industry background including working in healthcare, education, retail and logistics. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of People and Development.

She is also a Trustee of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, a charity with a mission to protect local wildlife and wild places. She was named by the Health Service Journal (HSJ) as being one of the top 100 most influential BAME figures in health.
