Leicestershire Partnership and Northamptonshire Healthcare Associate University Group has a new strategy, which sets out how our organisations will work together to improve health outcomes for our local communities and help the people we support to thrive. Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) and Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) have been working together as a Group to share best practice, increase productivity and use resources wisely since 2019.
We have a successful history of working in partnership: from our award-winning Together Against Racism programme, to developing a Group Health Inequalities Framework, publishing a Group Social Value Charter, and our many continuous improvement programmes – together we continue to thrive. Now, as well as sharing a geographical border, the Trusts share a new mission, vision and set of priorities.
Through our Thrive strategy, the Trusts will achieve our vision of: ‘Together we thrive; building compassionate care and wellbeing for all’, by 2030. We will do this by focusing on being inclusive of all, working together, and with a continuous emphasis on compassionate services and care. This vision will help to guide the organisations through upcoming times of opportunity and challenge, ensuring both Trusts are proactive and responsive to local needs, while co-producing care offers and working environments over the next five years.
The Group’s mission is ‘making a difference, together’, which drives both organisations to achieve the best outcomes for patients, service users and our wider communities each day.
In addition, the THRIVE strategic priorities underpin the Group strategy. They stand for:
- Technology
- Healthy communities
- Responsive
- Including everyone
- Valuing our people
- Efficient and effective.
Together, LPT and NHFT aim to build thriving, healthy communities, make the most of our resources and continue to be responsive, proactive, innovative, and inclusive organisations that make a difference.
