Self-consent resources
This year the service has introduced self-consent for young people, where they are in year 8 or above and a consent decision (either for or refusal) has not been provided by a parent or carer. In order to provide consent, the young person must be able to demonstrate they understand what is involved in the vaccination, as well as the risks and benefits. #
