We are proud of our staff and how they continue to ‘Step up to Great’ since the launch of our strategy in 2019.
Staff have embraced it to focus on nine key improvement areas, which has led to positive changes and significant improvements that have been reflected in our latest CQC report.
We know we have more to do. We are pleased to introduce our refreshed Step up to Great strategy which outlines how we will build on the solid foundation we have created, to help deliver our vision of ‘creating high quality compassionate care and wellbeing for all’. It demonstrates our commitment to working in partnership with the people who use our services, and to our staff, volunteers and wider system to achieve this.
People and their views remain at the centre. Our updated Step up to Great strategy is a culmination of our collective learning, achievements, feedback – from staff, stakeholders, service users and carers, as well as national and local priorities, bringing together our focus for the next three years.
We know we can’t achieve this alone. We are committed to working in partnership with you to deliver integrated care together with our service users, families and carers, the wider NHS, local authorities, Healthwatch and voluntary and community partners, not only in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland but across our region and beyond. Through Step Up to Great we will focus on working together on achieving great health outcomes, through great care, being a great place to work and an important part of our community.

We are proud of our LPT family and look forward to continuing to work together with you to Step up to Great. If you would like to have a conversation to discuss any aspect of our strategy further please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Kind regards,
Angela and Cathy
